My name is Vi-Zanne, the creator of this website. I live in Philadelphia with my husband, James, and 2 rambunctious girls.
I’m a full-time working mom, and this is my family.
A bit about me: I was born and raised in Malaysia. At the age of 12, I attended boarding school in Singapore for 6 years. I came to America in 2007 for my college education, and subsequently found my American dream here. I am a full-time actuary and full-time mom. My husband and I met at a ballroom dancing class. We fell in love and were married in 2016. Since then, we added two little girls to our family (Amaryllis and Seraphina).
My full-time job is demanding, and just like any parent, I’m constantly trying to figure out how to parent effectively, and spend more quality time with my family. I created this website so that I have a space to write about my experiences as we figure out this whole parenting thing and life. I blog about everything related to my parenting journey and you will probably find a mix of everything on this site – my personal family memories, parental and money advice, travel and some fun!
Parenting can be difficult and lonely sometimes, and I’m here to share bits and pieces of my experiences. As starters, check out this post about how I find ways to meet and make mom friends, or how I budget for my children’s education.
