Around the Clock Mom
I am so excited about my new blog! I have so many ideas I want to bring to Around the Clock Mom.
For one, I couldn’t believe the name “Around the Clock Mom” was available! I was brainstorming ideas and I was like… “that’s it!” And it was available!
As a mommy blogger, I want to bring a lot to the table. I believe a mom’s job is the most important job a woman will ever have. Once your a mother… everything else comes after your “number one” priority. Number one being your kids. Of course.
I want to be able to write about the good times and the bad times. The fun times and the scary times. I want to get feedback from other moms out there trying to do the best darn job they can do.
I am also a journalist. I have a degree in broadcast journalism and have worked in television news for the past seven years. The stories I like to tell the most are the stories focused around kids. I have met so many awesome kids in the work I do. There have been fun stories, and there have been sad stories. The saddest stories of children living with a terminal disease. So sad. But to see their smile and light for life – just makes you want to smile and be brave like them.
In this blog, I want to write about the latest in pediatric health, recalls, craft ideas for parents to do at home with their kids, I want to write about us WOMEN, us moms who need to take time out for ourselves more than we do. Some of us don’t at all! But it’s so important!
Aroundtheclockmom.com I can’t put it under a better umbrella. Us mommy’s are expected to do it all… it’s a 24/7 job and someone’s gotta do it. And if you ask me, I wouldn’t give my job up for the world.
